About
Shaping Cultural Memory Through Community and Hospitality
Trove is a multiuse creative space combining a cafe, research library, artisan workshops, hi-fi listening bar, and fashion archive.
The vision
Why Trove Exists
Trove is designed to safeguard and celebrate collective memory. It's a space where archiving is a communal act and cultural memory is built through shared attention.
We believe in the power of cultural preservation — that the stories, garments, sounds, and objects of African culture deserve dedicated spaces for study, appreciation, and continuation.
Trove connects the dots between fashion history, contemporary culture, and the act of making — creating a place where the past informs the future and community drives everything.

Not a luxury — infrastructure
Critical infrastructure for the culture
Trove is where creatives and everyday people gather around Black and African art and cultural relics — to see them up close, hold them, and learn their stories. Not artifacts behind glass, but a living archive you can touch, question, and draw from.
We’re building the infrastructure a culture needs to be kept and carried forward — so its ideas can travel into new work, new rooms, and new contexts.
